  • Brave Space Alliance: The first Black and trans-led LGBTQ Center dedicated to creating safe spaces and services to aid LGBTQ individuals in the Chicago area. 
  • Emergency Release Fund: A grassroots organization working to help LGBTQ folks with bail costs and legal services
  • For the Gworls: A New York City based organization raising money for Black Trans people to fund rent as well as gender affirmative surgeries.
  • G.L.I.T.S.: An organization that is tackling an array of issues facing transgender sex workers — using harm reduction, human rights principles, and economic and social justice to empower their community.  
  • Snap for Freedom: A Black, Trans-led collaborative looking to restore opportunities and equality for the Black Trans community of Atlanta.
  • TGI Justice Project: Standing for the Transgender Gender-Variant & Intersex Justice Project, they focus on providing leadership development, re-entry programs, and legal support.
  • The Marsha P. Johnson Institute:Founded in honor of the prominent Trans activist, the organization works to protect and defend the human rights of Black transgender people. 
  • The Okra Project:A collective seeking to help Black Trans people by providing home cooked and nutritious meals, cooked by Black Trans chefs, to as many people as they can. 
  • Trevor Project: Founded in 1998, the Trevor Project is a leading national organization that targets young LGBTQ people under 25 to provide crisis intervention and suicide intervention services. 
  • UK Black Pride: Europe’s largest celebration of Black and POC LGTBQ+ people. This is a movement that advocates and supports LGBTG+ communities through physical celebrations, community outreach and hardship funds.
