(NEW YORK) — Blue State, a leading creative agency and strategic advisor for purpose-driven organizations, today announced it has hired Camonghne Felix, a seasoned political communications strategist based in the agency’s Washington, D.C. office. Felix brings a decade of experience to Blue State developing dynamic communications solutions and branding strategies for progressive candidates, clients, and campaigns. At Blue State, she will help to lead the strategic communications needs of the agency’s clients.
Most recently, Felix was the National Director of Surrogates Communications, Black Media and Strategic Communications for Elizabeth Warren’s 2020 campaign for President. Before joining the Warren team, she was Communications Director for the Amara Enyia mayoral campaign in Chicago. Felix was the first black female speechwriter for a sitting New York State governor, Governor Andrew Cuomo.
