Liz is a content and campaigns leader whose expertise in strategic communications builds communities, inspires action, and drives fundraising for some of Blue State’s largest clients. She oversees Blue State’s Content and Campaigns initiatives while leading a team of experts and delivering hands-on content strategy and guidance to clients like Earthjustice and Boston Children’s Hospital Trust. She has developed content and communications strategies for clients including AARP, CARE, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Before Blue State, Liz was Director of Digital Engagement at the Natural Resources Defense Council, a leading environmental nonprofit, and headed up digital fundraising and advocacy for Common Cause, a good government organization. She started her career as a multimedia journalist — shooting and editing video, and working across radio, television, and print — for news organizations including The Washington Post, Kaiser Health News, The Seattle Times, and Slate.
Liz spends her weekend hiking, biking, and camping with her family.
