We are incredibly proud that our friend, colleague, co-founder, and CTO, Jascha Franklin-Hodge will be joining Mayor Marty Walsh’s cabinet as CIO for the City of Boston.

Cities are taking on global prominence as the vanguard of civic innovation, and we’re delighted to cheer Jascha on as he takes up this challenge to help re-envision how Boston can use technology and data to better serve its people.

We founded Blue State Digital to help organizations create change through unconventional thinking and nimble technology, and Jascha’s been an incredible partner as we’ve worked with hundreds of campaigns, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and brands.

There’s no one better suited to take the City of Boston to the next level, and we’ll be rooting for him as he joins the fantastic and dedicated group of BSD alumni who’ve entered public service, from City Hall to the White House.

For more coverage on Jascha’s move to City Hall, check out the City’s own announcement, these write-ups in the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald, or this Q&A over at BostInno.
