NEW YORK – Blue State, a leading creative agency and strategic advisor for purpose-driven organizations, announced that Alia Hassan has joined as the company’s new Executive Vice President and Eric Reif as Senior Vice President of Paid Media. In their new roles, Hassan will optimize Blue State’s offerings and delivery methodology and Reif will oversee the media practice across the agency.

Reif brings more than a decade of experience in advertising, fundraising, and marketing strategy to Blue State. Previously, he oversaw paid media on the Elizabeth Warren 2020 presidential campaign, directed grassroots fundraising at the Democratic National Committee, helped lead digital advertising for Obama 2012, and has worked at Weber Shandwick, BPI, and most recently eStreet Group.

Additionally, Hassan joins the new slate of Blue State’s restructured executive team to more accurately represent the people who make up the agency and the clients they serve. Expanded from four to fourteen, the Executive Team includes: Alia Hassan, Andrew Paryzer, Camonghne Felix, Donna Trim-Stewart, Joe Rospars, Jordan Mojica, Justine Boon, Katherine Mackenzie, Katie Newport, Marie Danzig, Meital Waibsnaider, Rob Laub, Ryan Seggel, and Stephen Muller.

This group will be the broad stewards of the company, providing greater transparency across the business, deeper connectivity with the company as a whole, and inclusion in the initiatives and processes that Blue State undertakes for growth and improvement.
