Alia Hassan

Alia works with Blue State and partners to deliver best-in-class work that meets business goals while responding to a rapidly changing environment. As Chief Operating Officer, she brings more than a decade of experience spanning operations, creative delivery, and design across the organization.

Before returning to Blue State, Alia served as Global Head of Operations at SecondMuse, a consulting firm in the social entrepreneurship space. During her earlier tenure at Blue State, she held roles including Head of Creative & Delivery and Global Director of Design, working with clients such as Teach For America, NYU, NAACP, United Way, and American Express.

Alia holds a degree in Communication Design and Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
