Marie Ewald Danzig

Marie oversees Blue State’s creative, strategy, and technology teams, including communications, user experience, design, analytics, paid media, and web and product development. Marie works tirelessly to ensure our work is best in class, innovative, and effective. She has helped dozens of the world’s leading nonprofits rapidly scale their fundraising, constituent engagement, and advocacy programs.

Before Blue State, Marie worked as deputy digital director on the 2012 Obama campaign, leading a team of 300 people. She has also directed digital fundraising and engagement at the UN World Food Programme and managed the digital and direct mail fundraising programs for the Clinton Foundation. Before that, she led nonprofit engagements at M+R Strategic Services.

Marie was a college ultimate frisbee national champion. She’s a born and bred New Yorker, currently raising her two sons in Brooklyn.
